Issaquah Alps–Anti-Aircraft Peak Loop
The ‘Issaquah Alps” is the unofficial name for the mountainous lands around Issaquah, including Poo Poo Point, Cougar Mountain, Squak Mountain, Tiger Mountain, and Rattlesnake Ledge. There’s miles of trails here, with a little something for everyone!
Cascade Lake & Moran State Park
As I’ve mentioned, Orcas Island is the most rugged of the San Juan Islands, at least for those wanting to hike. The peak of the island, Mount Constitution, is inside Moran State Park–but there’s easier hikes too!
Island Hoppin’ Brewery
Orcas Island has the best hiking of the San Juan Islands. And luckily for us, those hikes are all close to some delicious beer!
